CIRCULAR BIOCARBON's third City Interest Group webinar will explore the potential of transforming biowaste into valuable bio-based materials, moving beyond more mainstream energy applications, and with a particular focus on urban and regional bioeconomies. The webinar will begin by setting the stage with an overview of urban bio-based economies, providing context for the discussion. Following that, it will delve into the latest advancements in biowaste valorisation, highlighting the crucial role of bio-based materials.
The webinar will also present local economic development policies, such as bioeconomy clusters and industrial symbiosis, that create a supportive environment for the development and uptake of bio-based materials. The event will conclude with testimonials and best practices from local authorities, offering practical insights for participants. There will be ample time for a Q&A session, allowing participants to share their experiences and engage in the conversation.
